Whispers of the Garden II (Orchid Memories) is a contemplative mixed-media work inspired by the sensory stillness and emotional resonance of Singapore’s Orchid Garden. Through delicate layers of ink, watercolor, and textured mark-making, the artwork weaves together fragments of memory, ecology, and quiet human presence within a richly observed botanical landscape.

Scenes of flowering orchids, black swans drifting across calm waters, hens and roosters wandering through garden pathways, and subtle traces of café encounters emerge gradually through layered textures and translucent surfaces. These visual moments become emotional echoes  of reflections of time, place, scent, and personal remembrance intertwined with nature.
