Embarking on the FOAD Study Trip to Bali was a transformative journey filled with artistic exploration, cultural immersion, and deep learning experiences. Over the course of five days, we visited renowned institutions, engaged in hands-on workshops, and explored the rich heritage and sustainable practices that make Bali a hub of creativity and tradition. Day 2: Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar & Green School Bali

Our day began with a visit to the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar, where we participated in a Balinese Ornament Drawing workshop. This session introduced us to the intricate patterns and symbolic designs deeply rooted in Balinese culture. Guided by skilled artists, we learned traditional techniques used in temple carvings, textiles, and decorative arts. The experience provided valuable insights into how art serves as both a cultural expression and a storytelling medium in Indonesia.

In the afternoon, we embarked on the Green School Bali Tour, an eye-opening experience that showcased the power of sustainability in education. Nestled within lush jungle groves, Green School is an architectural marvel made entirely of bamboo, emphasizing eco-conscious design and immersive learning. Day 3: Penglipuran Village & Tirta Empul Temple
